Set a status when you add products, plus better syncing of products deleted in Square
You can choose how a product sells the moment you add it, Square sync now protects products you've deleted in Square that still have orders, and shoppers see the correct pickup day after a cutoff passes.
v2.0.29 lets you set a product's status as you add it, makes Square sync safer for products you've deleted in Square, and fixes the pickup day shoppers see after a cutoff passes.
What changed
Choose how a product sells when you add it
When you add a new product, you can now set how it sells right away. The options are "Not selling", "Preorder", or "Always available". Schedule-based types, such as CSA, events, and deposits, are set up after the product is created. We built an intuitive experience so you can see the product after it is saved. If the new product isn't visible under your current product dashboard filter, Tangaza guides you to the proper view settings.
Square sync now protects products you've deleted in Square that still have orders
When a product you removed from your Square catalog still has orders in Tangaza, sync now hides it instead of leaving it for sale, so no one can place an order. It is easy to add the product back into Square and make it available for sale with a few clicks on the Tangaza product dashboard.
The pickup day shows correctly after a cutoff passes
When a shopper adds an item whose pickup cutoff has already passed, the pickup day shown on the product now matches the day saved to the cart, fixing a confusing and slightly frustrating shopper experience.
