We’ve added a handy link to the Square receipt right in the order confirmation emails for shoppers who pay by credit card. Now, folks don’t have to dig around or sign in anywhere to find their proof of payment.
When a vendor or farmer receives an order confirmation email, there’s a contact button that lets them email the shopper directly. The message even comes prefilled with the order details, so you can get right to the point without hunting for info.
What changed
"View receipt" link on orders paid by credit cards
Orders confirmation emails, that involved a credit card payment, now include a link to the Square-hosted receipt page. The link respects the payment method (Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and only appears when a receipt exists.
Standardized "Need help?" card across customer emails
All customer-facing email templates now share a single support card with mailto links to Website Support and to the vendor, each pre-populated with a subject line. The vendor row hides automatically when the vendor has no email on file.
Vendor mailto link back to the shopper
Vendor order-notification emails include a "To contact this shopper, click here." link that opens a prefilled mailto with the order context in the subject.
