We updated the sign-in process for both the online store and the vendor dashboard. Modern browsers like Safari and Chrome have begun banning pop-ups and claiming better security, so we've switched the login method to not use popups anymore.
There is a problem with the responsiveness of the product quantity input field the product dashboard; it sometimes displays the wrong value. We are working on a fix for this and aim to address it within the next month. In the meantime, if you find this field unresponsive, you can use the "reset quantity" bulk action to quickly set all product preorder quantities to zero before your online store opens.
Mi-Tierra Farm has requested that we automatically reset product quantities to zero when the store closes. We have added this task to our backlog and hope to complete it by the end of the year.
Alongside our product awareness initiative, which promotes better engagement with your shoppers, we will spend the next two months working on the advance deposit and final payment feature requested by Bull City Farm. This feature will allow customers to make a deposit for turkeys several weeks before Thanksgiving. As the holiday approaches, Bull City Farm will update the listings with available turkey sizes, quantities, and pricing. An email will be sent to all depositors with a link to the turkey product listing, with the available options. Tangaza.io will handle quantity management, and final payments, which will consider the deposit paid, will be accurately managed, and accounting reconciled in an intuitive way in Square. Our goal is to reduce the hours Bull City Farm spends managing turkey orders while providing a streamlined and pleasant shopping experience for their shoppers. This feature will be marketed to beef, pig, and chicken farmers who sell freshly slaughtered meat to their local communities, as we believe it will save considerable time in managing this small farm sales workflow.
This feature will be part of the Tangaza.io standard subscription plan.
